Stainless Steel Cap
A stainless steel pipe cap is a formed fitting with one open butt-weld end and one closed end. It is used to terminate a pipe run, close a future branch connection, isolate a fabricated section or complete selected equipment and skid piping arrangements.
The cap must match the connected pipe system. Buyers should confirm the dimensional standard, material specification and grade, nominal pipe size, matching Schedule or wall thickness, cap construction or fitting class where applicable, end preparation, inspection and documentation. The service medium, pressure, temperature and piping code still govern final suitability.
